Nitin Dutt was born on 14th March – 1974 in Chandigarh his hometown. He earned his BFA in sculpture from Govt. College of Art, Chandigarh and MFA in Plastic Arts from Dept of Plastic Arts, Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He received a Teaching Fellowship in 2000 to pursue post-graduation in sculpture from Michigan State University. He has also studied architecture at the University of Toronto. On his return to India in 2010, he taught Visual Arts at CSPA.
